The Founders

Help America's Education, Inc was founded in 2002 by Mr. and Mrs. Penna with the purpose to support education in America. In 2014, the Pennas decided to combine two of their greatest interests, cinema and music in their effort to support education. 

Mr. Penna has a background in architecture and commercial construction leading up to thirty-six crews on projects, finance, as well as music, playing in numerous venues and fundraisers with many musicians such as Pete Seeger who became a family friend. Mr. Penna is a screenwriter, film producer, and song writer.

Mrs. Penna obtained a degree in architecture in 1995 and a Master's degree in scenography (theater set design and film production design) in 1997. She also participated in writing, acting, and directing workshops with authors, dramaturges, and directors such as Marcel Freydefont, Jean-Paul Wenzel and Claude Regy. Mrs. Penna worked as a scenographer, an assistant scenographer to director/scenographer Daniel Jeanneteau, and short film director/producer before her departure from France to the U.S. in 1999. Mrs. Penna is a screenwriter, director, and set designer.
